Warner Bros. announces ACME Fools celebration

Published on: 3rd April 2024

The month-long celebration of the Looney Tunes brand features an ACME Bootcamp on Cartoon Network, a social media takeover and much more.

Warner Bros. Discovery invites fans to turn April Fools into ACME Fools, a celebration of the Looney Tunes and their playful antics that have inspired both young and adult viewers for decades.

The month-long celebration, which began on 1st April, kicks off with the ACME Bootcamp, the newest trend in high-performance fitness training inspired by the Looney Tunes. Content will run across LooneyTunes social accounts and the WBKids YouTube channel and includes a video series starting with the ACME Bootcamp Announcement Video. Additional content will introduce real-life elite athletes engaging in never-before-attempted fitness routines that defy the laws of gravity, physics and even logic to inspire fans to get into peak shape.

The participating athletes include Nick Mayhugh, track star and Paralympian on Team USA, Sky Brown, professional skateboarder and olympian, Peng Peng Lee, retired Olympic gymnast and Shafar Delgado, professional break dancer. The videos show these athletes performing their ACME Bootcamp training routines using ACME products.

A global social filter on TikTok will take fans through a gameified ACME Bootcamp experience like Catch the Anvils, Whack A Duck and more stunts with each focusing on the five key areas of fitness.

New content, merchandise, stunts and more will appear across Cartoon Network, Max, social media, consumer products, games and themed experiences. These will include:

●       Cartoon Network’s full-day marathon showcasing Bugs Bunny Builders, classic Looney Tunes, The Looney Tunes Show and Tiny Toons Looniversity.

●       The WB Kids You Tube channel ACME Fools live stream running all April long, where subscribers will be able to tune into their beloved sports-themed Looney Tunes episodes and sports related compilations.
