Toymaster May Show moved to September amid COVID-19 pandemic

Published on: 3rd April 2020

Toymaster has confirmed the postponement of its May Show to a later date this year, a move made amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and Government lockdown measures.

The show’s organisers have issued the official statement this morning, citing contractual issues that have now been overcome as the reason for the delayed postponement announcement.

The Toymaster May Show has now been postponed and will instead take place this September, at the same venue – the Majestic Hotel, Harrogate. It will run from Wednesday, September 2nd to Friday, September 4th. Tuesday, September 1 will be show set up.

“I understand that these dates may not suit everyone but if there is one question that has been asked over the last few weeks more than any it is ‘What’s happening with the May Show’. I hope you agree that we need the show to take place and help kick start the independent toy business for Members and Suppliers alike,” said Ian Edmunds, MD of Toymaster.

“Please save the dates and we will come back to you nearer the time once normal service has been resumed with more details.”
