Mattel UK Consumer Products welcomes two new hires

The appointments of Lisa Lalayan and Jack Allen strengthen Mattel’s UK Consumer Products arm in the Licensing space.

Mattel has bolstered its UK Consumer Products arm with two new hires, strengthening UK & Regional Hardlines head of Consumer Products Jon Spalding’s team and continuing to demonstrate Mattel as a franchise force in the Licensing space.

Lisa Lalayan is relocating to the UK, taking on the role of Softlines manager Consumer Products UK, after three years working across the EMEA CP Team, where she has successfully built long term partnerships with leading retailers. Lisa will assume responsibility for Mattel brands across fashion, accessories, health/beauty and home products and will continue to strengthen existing partnerships as well as forging innovative new relationships.

Jack Allen has joined Mattel as Hardlines manager, Consumer Products UK and will also lead Mattel’s retail-first approach. He joins Mattel UK from Winning Moves and has proven licensing experience across a number of IP & licensors. Jack will take on responsibility for Hardlines, FMCG & Publishing categories and looks forward to building Mattel’s licensing business.

In addition to the new UK Team changes, Liz Reeve will move into the EMEA Hardlines Team to drive regional partners and strategy and will bring her extensive experience to Mattel’s portfolio across EMEA.

Liz is joined by Max Pilcher, who joins Mattel as Category manager, FMCG. Max will be report into Liz and they will both report into Jon within the EMEA structure.
