Camp announces Bluey immersive adventure

Published on: 8th May 2024

Family experience company Camp and Bluey have partnered to bring an immersive experience to fans in Boston, set to arrive at Burlington Mall this summer.

Camp has announced that it will bring its hit new immersive adventure, Bluey x Camp, to Boston this summer as the third stop on its US tour. Starting on 19th July at the Camp store in Burlington Mall, Boston families can explore Bluey and Bingo’s house in an immersive adventure created in collaboration with BBC Studios and the show’s Emmy Award-winning producers, Ludo Studio.

Behind Camp’s signature Magic Door, families can visit Bluey’s home, a 5,000-square-foot house. With dancing, games and a meet-and-greet finale, it’s the ultimate experience for Bluey fans. Guests at Bluey x Camp will:

  • Play their favourite Bluey games, from Magic Asparagus to Keepy Uppy.
  • Show off their best moves in Bluey’s playroom as Camp Counselors activate Dance Mode.
  • Climb through a two-story pillow fort and a cardboard box castle with slides.
  • Discover hidden Easter eggs from their favourite Bluey episodes nestled throughout the house — garden gnomes, tennis balls and long dogs galore.
  • Enjoy short Bluey animations specially created by Ludo Studio to enhance this immersive experience.
  • Snap a selfie with Bingo and Bluey in a grand finale meet-and-greet.
  • Shop exclusive Bluey x Camp co-branded merchandise.

“Bostonians really embraced the Camp magic when we opened our store in 2022,” said Amanda Raposo, Camp’s chief experience officer. “Last year, we hosted Bluey and Bingo Meet-and-Greets in our Boston store at Burlington Mall, which sold out  really fast. And soon at Bluey x Camp, visitors get to step inside a fully immersive Bluey experience in real life. We can’t wait to share this heartwarming experience with even more families this summer.”

“We are excited to work with Camp to bring their newest immersive show to Burlington Mall. We love introducing new concepts like Bluey x Camp as part of our commitment to creating new experiences for families and offering a one-stop destination where they can shop, dine and play,” said Nancy Gilbert, regional vice president of Marketing at Burlington Mall.

Camp and BBC Studios have also collaborated on an exclusive co-branded Bluey collection of toys and merchandise. Giftable favourites from the collection include the Bluey x Camp Heeler Family Car Doodler, Bluey Ring Tower stackable wooden toy and Bluey and BingoEars Headbands. The collection is available in-store in Boston, on Camp’s official website and in other Camp stores nationwide.

“We are delighted that the Bluey x Camp experience is resonating so strongly with kids and we are able to bring this collaboration to more locations throughout the US, giving more fans the opportunity to laugh, play and pretend with Bluey and her family,” said Suzy Raia, BBC Studios.

Bluey x Camp will be in Boston for a limited time before moving to another Camp location, to be announced at a later date. Bluey x Camp first opened in Los Angeles in November 2023 and headed to Chicago for the second stop on the tour on 24th May, 2024.

Timed entry tickets for Bluey x Camp are available now and can be purchased here.
