Mattel reveals licensing partnerships ahead of Barbie movie

Mattel hails the release of the Barbie movie as a historic moment for the company, creating incredible fanfare for partners and consumers alike.

With the Summer of Barbie in full swing ahead of the release of Barbie on July 21st, Mattel has announced several of its licensing partners for the film. Mattel will collaborate with key consumer, merchandise and retail brands for exciting launches leading up to Barbie’s release, including:

Spirit Halloween Superstores – will release 16 Barbie the Movie costumes and accessories available this summer at SpiritHalloween.com and in stores this season.

Alex and Ani – a range of jewellery with sparkle, glam and Barbie Pink. The new Alex and Ani x Barbie the Movie Collection includes everything from earring sets to adjustable necklaces

Hot Topic – The Hot Topic Barbie the Movie Collection features fashions inspired by the film, with an assortment of jewellery, handbags and home accessories.

Loungefly (Funko) – an all-new collection of captivating designs from Loungefly has been designed in celebration of the upcoming live-action film, including a mini backpack and wallet.

MeUndies – new, super-soft and stretchy MeUndies looks are inspired by Barbie the Movie.

Funboy – lets consumers experience the Barbie movie in real life, from the big screen to the pool, with fun inflatables.
