Attraktion! unveils immersive Angry Birds game

Published on: 9th June 2023

The immersive Angry Birds game, which employs a high-end 3D style inspired by the Angry Birds movies, will be available to play on Attraktion!’s multiplayer platform, Playneo.

Visitors to IAAPA Expo Asia in Singapore this month will be able to play the game at Attraktion!’s booth.

Attraktion! GmbH, an innovator in immersive entertainment experiences, has announced a partnership with Angry Birds’ creator Rovio Entertainment to bring the beloved gaming franchise to its unique high-end Playneo product.

Under the new licensing agreement, which was facilitated by Angry Birds’ global licensing agency IMG, the two brands will come together to create an engaging immersive experience for players around the globe, featuring high-quality graphics and gameplay based on the popular media franchise.

Playneo, a groundbreaking gaming experience developed by Attraktion!, combines cutting-edge technology and immersive gameplay to create what the company calls a ‘truly next-level free-roam entertainment platform’. The incorporation of the globally recognised Angry Birds franchise adds an extra layer of excitement and familiarity for players and gaming enthusiasts of all ages.

Going a step further from the usual 2D graphics, Playneo’s Angry Birds game employs a high-end 3D style inspired by the Angry Birds movies. The game also replicates the movies’ visuals and storylines, with players being recruited by Red to defend their island paradise from a group of invading pigs.

The Angry Birds-themed Playneo game is scheduled for its first demonstration at IAAPA Expo Asia in Singapore this month. Guests are invited to try it live at booth L1148 from June 14th – 16th at Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre.

The game will officially launch in October 2023 in the USA, Austria, Germany and United Emirates.
