This trip follows the pre-school characters’ appearance at the iconic Bristol Harbour Festival on the 15th and 16th July.

The dynamic duo, brought by Magic Light Pictures, sponsored the Harbour Festival’s iconic Circus Playground on College Green and hosted meet and greet sessions with their fans, alongside exciting giveaways and entertaining activities.

Marc Ollington, marketing director, Magic Light Pictures, said: “We were delighted to return to Bristol to play a part in this colourful event which brings the city’s families together in celebration. It is a brilliant fit for our brand and it was joyful to watch hundreds of children interacting with Pip and Posy and enjoying some special playtime.”

Pip and Posy’s next stop will be Leicester where they will be celebrating Playday at the Snapdragon Festival on Wednesday, 2nd August. Now in its tenth year, the Snapdragon Festival takes place over three days and features a programme of play activities, free workshops, performances and crafts. There is a theme for each day of the festival and the theme for 2nd August is Play on a Shoestring.

Magic Light Pictures holds the global distribution and merchandising rights to Pip and Posy (excluding publishing) and has launched a full consumer products programme to complement the property. Products already rolling out include tie-in publishing from Nosy Crow, as well as puzzles from Ravensburger, dress up with Amscan, audio figurines with Tonies and home accessories. The Pip and Posy characters are also appearing in Milkshake! Live, headlining Parkdean Resorts’ Milkshake! Mornings at key times during the summer and touring nationwide throughout 2023.
