BLE’s online meetings platform opens today

Published on: 26th July 2023

Brand Licensing Europe (BLE) opens its online meeting platform as organisers confirm 190 exhibiting companies and thousands of retailers and manufacturers registered to attend.

From today, anyone who is registered for BLE can use the online meetings platform to search for licence-ready brands spanning every category across entertainment, sports, gaming, heritage & non-profit, food & beverage, celebrity, automotive, art and more; request meetings with the exhibitors who represent them and plan their show itinerary to maximize ROI from their visit. The event takes place on 4th-6th October at ExCeL London.

Visitors not already signed up are invited to register for a free pass to BLE by clicking here. They will then receive an email to set up a free profile within 48hrs of registering.

Organisers are also strongly encouraging attendees to make the most of this week – the last in July – to get a head start on filling their meetings calendars before some European countries partly close for business in August, as calendars usually get very busy as soon as September hits.

Thousands of retailers and licensees representing a broad spectrum of categories have already registered including Amazon, HMV, Clementoni, Difuzed, Panini France, DeAgostini, Selfridges, World Duty Free, Aldi, EMP Merchandising, Tendam, Dreamland, C&A, Benetton, Hachette, Butlins, Funko and Scribbler.

Brands represented on the show floor include Barbie, Peppa Pig, Care Bears, Keith Haring, Sonic the Hedgehog, Pokémon, Banana Republic, Lizzo, DragonBall-Z, FC Barcelona, Barbapapa, Peanuts, Bluey, Shaun the Sheep, Kellogg’s, Smiley, Squishmallows, Monopoly, Moomin, Assassin’s Creed, V&A Photography, Pringles, Peter Rabbit, Le Petit Prince and thousands more. The Brand Directory will help attendees to understand who owns the rights to each brand, and who to meet with during the event.

BLE event director Ella Haynes said: “The number one reason people attend BLE is to meet and do deals with brands, so the online meetings platform makes it much easier to pinpoint which exhibitor owns which brands and where to find them on the show floor. This really makes searching the thousands of brands easy based on your customers and business needs.”

She added: “Visitors can also use the platform to check out company profiles, view the content agenda and networking events, and request meetings with exhibitors to start planning their show itinerary. We always say that having all of this in one place is like having a pocket PA – it’s a brilliant tool for maximising time at the show and making sure they don’t miss anything.”
