Published on: 15th March 2024

Alton Towers has unveiled the world’s first Bluey themed hotel bedrooms and announced that Bluey will be joined by her sister Bingo at the park this Easter.

Families can now book to stay in Bluey themed bedrooms at the UK’s only CBeebies Land Hotel. Available from Saturday 25th May, the Bluey rooms will join the line-up of themed rooms at CBeebies Land Hotel, which also include Bing, Postman Pat, In the Night Garden, Octonauts and Something Special.

In a first-look artist impressions, the colourful and playful rooms, which are the first Bluey themed hotel bedrooms in the world, will feature recognisable elements from the series and sleep up to five guests (two adults, three children). Uniquely designed for young families, CBeebies Land Hotel has music, stories and adventures for little ones to enjoy, including the chance for kids to meet some of their favourite CBeebies friends throughout the day and into the evening.

Fans will also be able to meet Bluey and Bingo at CBeebies Land in Alton Towers Resort from Saturday, 23rd March.

This comes just weeks after the Staffordshire-based resort announced the arrival of Bluey. Now, fans of the global hit TV show, which broadcasts daily on CBeebies, will be able to meet Bluey and Bingo each day in an area of the theme park dedicated to CBeebies, which will celebrate its 10th anniversary this year.

Bluey and Bingo are the latest names to join the line up in CBeebies Land that already includes popular CBeebies friends such as Duggee, Iggle Piggle, Upsy Daisy, Bing and Flop, Ubercorn, Peter Rabbit and the Teletubbies.

“We’re delighted to mark CBeebies Land’s 10th anniversary with the introduction of Bluey and Bingo,” said Bianca Sammut, divisional director at Alton Towers Resort. “As a destination dedicated to creating unforgettable memories for families, CBeebies Land remains committed to delivering magical experiences that captivate the imagination and inspire laughter.”

Natasha Spence, head of attractions – Live Events at BBC Studios, said: “This will be the first time visitors can experience meet and greets with Bluey and her sister at the resort, so it will be a very special experience. The Bluey themed hotel rooms are incredibly exciting too and we’re sure they will be a very popular addition to what is already a fantastic selection of themed hotel rooms at CBeebies Land Hotel.”

Over the coming weeks, Alton Towers Resort is set to announce more exciting news about the 10th anniversary celebrations, including more brand-new additions for the 2024 season. It is set to include added live entertainment, activities and special guests across the celebration.
