KAP Toys welcomes Hello Kitty Cappuccino

Published on: 27th January 2023

KAP Toys is bringing Sbabam’s Hello Kitty Cappuccino range to the United Kingdom & Ireland, offering kids collectible kawaii toys at pocket money price points.

Hello Kitty CappuccinoEach Hello Kitty Cappuccino collectible from Sbabam looks like an ordinary cup of cappuccino, but when kids add cold water to the top of the coffee, a scented Hello Kitty Squishy collectible character appears. There are eight for kids to collect and enjoy.

Hello Kitty is an iconic heritage brand created in 1974, which is managed and owned by Sanrio. Hailing from the suburbs of London, Hello Kitty lives with her parents and twin sister (and best friend) Mimmy. Her hobbies include baking cookies and making new friends.

Hello Kitty enjoys a global fanbase with a demographic spanning both children and adults. The brand is fully supported in all forms of media and benefits from a Roblox game that boasts 12m monthly users and has racked up impressive play times.

Retailers know that Japanese anime is a growth trend and that Hello Kitty is a superstar in the world of kawaii.

Nathaniel Southworth, managing director, told Toy World: “I keep having to pinch myself about the licences that we are now representing; Hello Kitty is a phenomenon. The team at Sbabam has created a brilliant capsule range that comes perfectly packaged for retail. The four SKU range has been pushed through for spring/summer 2023 and we’ve already seen an explosion of interest on TikTok, with Rhia.official notching up 500,000 views on her first video of them. Stock is going out to stores now as influencers are receiving product for review.”

KAP Toys showcased Hello Kitty Cappuccino at London Toy Fair this week. The collectible toys are available in CDUs of eight and are available for immediate shipment.

Order enquiries can be emailed to orders@kaptoys.com or call Neil Leah, head of Sales, on 07887 998 528.
