Andrew Eborn and Eleanor TomlinsonEleanor Tomlinson, the award-winning artist and illustrator from East Yorkshire who achieved international recognition for her work depicting Her Majesty The Queen together with Paddington Bear, has joined forces with Andrew Eborn, renowned international lawyer and broadcaster and president of Octopus TV, to maximise licensing opportunities and develop a global brand.

Eleanor’s work has received millions of likes and shares, first during the Jubilee, then again after Her Majesty’s death.

A serendipitous meeting, brought about by a BBC Platinum Jubilee news story, has resulted in lawyer and strategic business adviser Andrew Eborn, president of Octopus TV developing international opportunities for Eleanor’s business.

For many years Andrew Eborn has empowered companies to face the challenges of changing markets, maximising the return on their rights as well as assisting with the strategic development of their businesses.

Eleanor commented: “I am very excited at even the thought of the possible opportunities being created as a result of my partnership with Andrew Eborn. What started as a wonderful introduction by the BBC has already turned into a strong creative partnership. I’m very grateful to the BBC for opening such a door into a world of new opportunities with Andrew especially at a time when I was at a loss as to where to turn, having suffered artwork theft on a global level. 2022 was an incredible, rollercoaster year in my career, but 2023 is already proving to be something else as Andrew and I join forces to share even more of my artwork with the world, entering into fabulous collaborations with leading world names. Andrew and I make a formidable team – an artist’s dream.”

Andrew Eborn added: “I am thrilled to be working with Eleanor reviewing the various opportunities including from international licensing. Together we intend to develop a global brand, building on the success of Eleanor’s work to date, whilst protecting Eleanor’s artistic rights and integrity. I very much look forward to hearing from anyone interested in exploring the exciting licensing opportunities.”
