Flair GP UK reveals new Gigantosaurus range for 2023

Published on: 21st December 2022

Based on popular animated kids’ series Gigantosaurus, the new range of figures and plush will hit UK shelves from July.

Flair GP is to introduce a new line of series-inspired toys from Gigantosaurus, the successful animated kids’ series which shows on Disney+, Netflix and Tiny Pop (UK).

The brand new Gigantosaurus toy range is the result of a partnership between United Smile and Cyber Group Studios, producer of the blockbuster series. UK-based Brand-Ward, the kids IP consultancy and licensing agency, brokered the new partnership.

With the new line, kids will have the opportunity to recreate their favourite adventures at home with the dinosaur friends they know and love. The entry point into the range will be the assortment of collectible two inch mini figures which fans can collect with single packs or they can opt for the blind Mighty Mini Friends Egg and brave the slime to reveal which character is hiding inside.

The Soft Buddies Plush assortment offers four super-soft characters to collect, while the 10-inch Giganto Plush with Sounds will impress with its roaring and stomping effects. The 14-inch Action Giganto is the standout toy of the range with its chomping jaws and stomping legs.

Verity Page, head of Marketing at Flair GP, said: “Gigantosaurus is a huge hit, so we are incredibly excited to bring the toys to market and replicate the success that the series has had. Visit us at London Toy Fair – Stand E39 – to see the range in full and hear more about our plans for 2023.”

Jean-Philippe Randisi, founder of Brand-Ward, commented: “In a volatile market environment, Gigantosaurus is a safe bet, based on its rock-solid ratings success on screen, the enduring appeal of dinosaurs, and a very compelling toy line developed by United Smile and soon distributed by the talented team at Flair GP”.

“Our Property Gigantosaurus is continuing its expansion around the world and the launch of the new toy line developed by our master toy licensee, United Smile, is a strategic step,” added Bruno Danzel D’aumont, Cyber Group Studios’ International Licensing & Marketing vice president. “I am very pleased that Flair GP will bring this line to the UK market. Flair GP is a strong player, and I am confident that it will perform well.”

Based on Jonny Duddle’s book, published by Bonnier Books UK, which has sold over 600,000 copies worldwide, the comedy adventure series is currently streaming worldwide on key platforms and airing around the world on major channels. With three seasons, the Gigantosaurus animated series produced by Cyber Group Studios is a household favourite with boys and girls aged three to seven.

The Gigantosaurus property is also enjoyed through YouTube, video games, and publishing. Gigantosaurus Land, a new four-acre interactive play-themed area with immersive attractions, is also set to come to the UK at the Roarr! dinosaur-themed adventure park in 2024.
