WildBrain partners with Fabacus to develop Teletubbies digital product catalogue

Published on: 15th December 2022

The pilot project will provide key data and actionable insights for WildBrain’s beloved Teletubbies brand.

Global technology company and data service provider Fabacus has partnered with entertainment, sport and brand licensing agency WildBrain CPLG to pilot an innovative digital product catalogue. This comes as part of the development of WildBrain CPLG’s data-focused consumer products strategies for owned and partner brands.

The pilot programme will centre on the iconic Teletubbies brand and its extensive licensed portfolio, with a focus on the UK, Europe and Asia. By capturing key data and actionable insights, the Fabacus technology aims to ensure WildBrain CPLG and its licensees can reach and engage consumers of Teletubbies products by driving customers to official, brand-authorised products across marketplaces.

The catalogue benefits licensees, retailers and partners by creating a master reference point that links concept to authenticated products, allowing them to be discovered more easily and therefore potentially driving increased sales. The pilot project for Teletubbies is the first engagement with WildBrain CPLG for Fabacus, in the brand’s 25th anniversary year, and holds the potential for expansion across additional brands in the agency’s portfolio.

Andrew Xeni, CEO and founder of Fabacus, said: “We have always known how powerful this technology can be for brand owners and their licensee partners alike, to maximise the value of a brand as well as introducing workflow efficiencies across licensing. We are excited to work with WildBrain on the iconic Teletubbies franchise as a pilot project, with the potential to expand our offering across additional brands in the company’s world-leading portfolio.”

“We are looking forward to working with Fabacus to pilot this innovative digital catalogue for the Teletubbies brand as we continue to build data-focused consumer product strategies,” commented Meike de Vaere-Hoorn, VP Partnerships and Business Development at WildBrain CPLG. “A comprehensive digital product catalogue will be a highly valuable competitive asset to all stakeholders, providing important data and actionable insights.”
