Clarks x Pokémon join forces for second collaboration

Published on: 11th December 2023

Clarks x Pokémon brings four fan favourite Pokémon to life in new collaboration, featuring archive-inspired silhouettes and reimagining signature profiles.

Clarks x PokemonOff the back of an award-winning kids collaboration, Clarks has joined forces with Pokémon again, this time re-imagining the signature adults Torhill Hi profile. The latest archive-inspired silhouette borrows design elements from two Clarks classics: the iconic Wallabee and the 90’s-born Big Gripper. With the sleek lace-up profile of the former and the ultra-chunky TR sole of the latter, this collab featuring four unique Pokémon colourways features bold vintage aesthetics.

Available from the 8th December, the second Clarks x Pokémon collaboration sees four Pokémon take over their own Torhill silhouette. From Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle and fan favourite Pikachu, each has their own dedicated shoe style and is brought to life by pixelated stitched graphics on the tongue. Crafted from premium suede, the reimagined soles come in green, orange, blue and yellow, with each hue inspired by its individual Pokémon.

Pokémon is renowned for its bold collaborations across a range of categories from both the mass and luxury markets, bringing the brand to life through apparel and accessories. Recent collections include collaborations with Balmain, Puma and Converse. The Pokémon x Clarks collection took home the Best Licensed Children’s Apparel or Accessories Range at the Licensing Awards in September 2023.

Pokémon first debuted in Japan with the launch of Pokémon Red Version and Pokémon Green Version in 1996. Today, Pokémon is one of the most popular children’s entertainment properties in the world, boasting an expansive portfolio of products, all created to surprise and delight fans across the globe.

Clarks, based in Somerset, England, has been at the forefront of innovative shoemaking since its foundation in 1825. Clarks is a global business, operating retail, wholesale, franchise and online channels in over 100 markets.
