The company announced its first co-branded magazine partnership in North America with the iconic children’s publication Highlights Magazine, a brand well-recognised among generations of parents across its 78-year history. Highlights and CoComelon will team up to launch Highlights CoComelon, a new monthly magazine available by subscription for kids ages 1-4. The first issue will be the September issue, out in August. Highlights CoComelon expands the children’s show beyond the screen, onto the page and right to families’ mailboxes. The partnership brings the show’s colourful world, adorable characters, catchy songs and spirit of learning and exploration into a kid-friendly format. It’s nearly indestructible and perfect for little hands. Magazine features include puzzles, counting, poems, games, parent prompts, tips, tricks, resources and ways to join the Highlights CoComelon community.

CoComelon is also proving to be a successful brand across Softlines and FMCG products. The team has teamed up with Copper Pearl, a national soft goods leader in baby and kids products, to release a series of collaborative prints in its best-selling items. Included in the collection will be Copper Pearl’s drool-absorbent baby bibs, super-stretchy swaddles and an ever growing line of kids pyjamas. Other recent launches include Simple Modern CoComelon branded water bottles, a Uniqlo t-shirt collection and Piccolo nutritious baby snacks. These new partners join a roster of leading CoComelon licensees including Rascals and Tomy.

“The CoComelon brand puts families at the forefront, supporting parents and caregivers throughout their daily routines such as mealtime, bath time, bedtime and more. With these new partnerships, we aim to help promote enriched family moments with relevant products and experiences, that not only entertain little ones, but also alleviate parenting challenges and create lifetime memories,” said Joan Grasso, head of Consumer Products, The Americas, at Moonbug Entertainment.

This winter, CoComelon Playdate, a family entertainment experience, will open at the Mall of America, North America’s largest shopping and entertainment destination in Bloomington, Minn. Created with production company Black Sky Creative, CoComelon Playdate will be the first family entertainment centre dedicated to bringing the magic of CoComelon to life in an immersive and interactive environment in North America. Designed to captivate young hearts and minds, CoComelon Playdate will blend the charm of a children’s museum with the excitement of a kids’ play zone. Bringing to life the iconic locations, beloved characters and infectious music of CoComelon, children and parents alike will experience an adventure through JJ’s Treehouse, the Melon Patch Academy, the Fire Station, Kwame’s Bakery, Old MacDonald’s Farm, the iconic yellow school bus and much more, all within a safe and engaging indoor environment.

A new CoComelon learning app will be made available later this summer. Moonbug will release more information about the new app soon.
