Published on: 21st June 2024

Bandai Namco Amusement Europe and Toei Animation Europe are launching a Dragon Ball Super pop-up store at Bandai Namco Cross Store Camden this week.

The Dragon Ball Super Pop-Up will take place from 21st June to 28th July and include a variety of merchandise and photo spots for fans of the globally famed IP. Across two floors at Bandai Namco Cross Store Camden, free novelty items can be obtained through Bandai’s social media competitions, and through a 7-star tier system known as The Dragon Ball Super Account.

During the pop-up, collectors and fans can acquire merchandise of statues from much loved characters such as Goku, Vegeta, Master Roshi, Gohan, Piccolo, Gogeta and more in a variety of figure forms: Chibi Masters, Dragon Star Series; Super Saiyan, Super Version and Banpresto.

Fans of Dragon Ball will also be able to embark on a hunt starting at the Camden store to venture out around Camden Market looking for hidden items to decipher for an opportunity to claim a prize. Meanwhile, a Dragon Ball Weekly Competition will take place by scanning the QR code when purchasing a Dragon Ball product, to stand a chance of winning a bundle of exclusive prizes.

Visitors to the pop-up can pose and take pictures and videos next to iconic characters such as Goku, Vegeta and Shenron, against backdrops and videos of scenes and themes from Dragon Ball. They can also write wishes on sticky notes and leave them on the message board for the magical dragon, Shenron.

Dragon Ball first began in the comic magazine Weekly Shonen Jump in Japan in 1984. From there, it has branched out into various media, including anime and games, as well as spawning a plethora of merchandise, and continues to have new works produced to this day. Currently, Dragon Ball-related media is released globally, where it is enjoyed by many millions of fans.
