Published on: 19th June 2024

Acamar Films has joined forces with Brands & Rights 360 to manage its Bing IP in regions including Latin America, MENA and EMEA.

Acamar Films has announced a new partnership with Brands & Rights 360 to represent Emmy award-winning pre-school IP Bing across Latin America, MENA, EMEA and other international markets. Brands & Rights 360 will advise Acamar Films on media strategy for building on Bing’s success as a global evergreen hit and will represent the media distribution rights for Bing in key territories. The company will also work closely with Acamar Films to appoint local licensing partners across Latin America to manage licensing and publishing rights.

Bing has been supporting the healthy development of young children for 10 years. Each seven-minute episode presents an authentic portrayal of the emotions, developmental stages and age-appropriate daily experiences of every pre-school child. Bing is already a success in the UK with over 1b requests on the BBC iPlayer, and is the number one show in the younger pre-school category in Italy. It is also a linear hit across many countries throughout Europe and Australia.

Bing is available internationally through a 36-channel YouTube network, with over one million hours of viewing each day. Acamar Films continues to expand the global reach of Bing with the delivery of brand-new American English, Japanese, Mandarin, Arabic, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and Hindi episodes.

Mikael Shields, CEO Acamar Films, and producer of Bing, said: “We are delighted to be working with Ignacio and the team at Brands & Rights 360. They are so generous with their expertise, extensive knowledge and contacts and have already helped us to strengthen our distribution opportunities for Bing.”

“I believe that Bing is truly special. It gives our youngest audience members a way to understand themselves and their world in a way that feels timeless, universal and remarkably individual,” said Ignacio Orive, Brands & Rights 360`s president. “At Brands & Rights 360, we genuinely have specialist knowledge of this young audience. We all believe that, in partnership with the extraordinary team at Acamar Films, we already have the momentum to strengthen Bing’s path to become a global evergreen hit.”
