ZAG’s Miraculous – Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir strikes Amazon deal

Planeta Junior has secured a new partnership with Amazon Spain to launch the first Miraculous – Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir cross-category online store.

The dedicated online store will operate through the Amazon Spain platform and will offer fans the opportunity to shop all things Miraculous, from toys, stationery and backpacks to fashion, home décor and more.

Users who access the Miraculous – Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir store will encounter a totally immersive shopping experience thanks to special themeing with characters from the popular series, read a statement from the firm.

Miraculous – Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir is currently broadcast in 120 markets and has topped the ratings in numerous territories, with fans across the ages around the globe.

The series is created by ZAG and Method Animation, part of On Kids and Family.

The news arrives as the series continues to pick up momentum across Europe through a new partnership with H&A for the roll-out of a health and beauty range that includes bath products, play cosmetics, hair care and gift sets.

Meanwhile, Sambro is on board for arts and crafts, including magnetic scribblers, colouring tables and bead craft sets as well as styling head dolls.

The new licensees add to a large and growing programme of partners including the likes of Bandai, Gosh Designs at PMS International, Igloo Books, Kokomo, Roy Lowe socks, Maad Toys, Rubies, Gemma International, Aykroyds/TDP, Whitehouse Leisure, Dreamtex, Imagine8 and Sakar.

“It’s great to have two more strong licensees joining a programme that just keeps on growing,” said Bulldog Licensing MD, Rob Corney.

“This stretches across a wide range of categories and we are in talks with lots of potential partners, so more announcements are expected soon.”
