US: Lola & Virginia hits Amazon Instant Video

Imira Entertainment has launched animated sitcom Lola & Virginia on Amazon Instant Video and Amazon Prime in the US.

Lola & Virginia, a show following two rival 12 year old girls, has landed on the VOD service in the US through a deal brokered by US distributor Viva Pictures Distribution LLC.

“We are excited to continue to launch quality international animated content in non-traditional viewing windows in North America," said Victor Elizalde, president of Viva Pictures Distribution.

"The world-class projects from Imira deserve an audience in North America, and Amazon Instant and Amazon Prime are the perfect platforms."
