Universal Partnerships & Licensing is teaming up with Garmin for the launch of The Biggest Loser branded fitness devices.

The deal kicks off with the launch of The Biggest Loser vivofit daily activity tracker this month. All of the contestants on the current season of the show – airing in the US – will wear the devices to set healthy goals, track their progress and stay accountable to their trainers.

The vivofit automatically greets users with a personalised daily goal, tracks their progress and reminds them when it’s time to move. It shows steps, goal countdown, calories, distance and time of day, and has a 5ATM water rating.

"For more than a decade, Garmin wearables have helped people reach health and wellness goals, and the introduction of vivofit earlier this year brought that motivation to the next level," said Dan Bartel, Garmin’s VP of worldwide sales.
