Rubber Road scores FA deal

Ahead of the much-anticipated FIFA World Cup later this year, Rubber Road has announced a new partnership with The Football Association to produce branded merchandise for 2022.  

The company already has a wealth of partners across global entertainment, tv, movies, gaming, comic books and music, and the addition of sport strengthens its ever-growing portfolio.

Rubber Road and its design arm Numskull Designs are known for creating, manufacturing and distributing official licensed merchandise including gaming accessories, lamps, wireless chargers, collectables and more. One of the new FA branded products will be a Gaming Locker, perfect for storing gaming gear.

Rubber Road scores new heavy metal music licences

Rubber Road is heading down a new musical path with some new licences that will see the company introducing official merchandise for three of the world’s biggest heavy metal artists.

The company works with some of the leading names in TV shows, movies, gaming and comic books and can now officially add music to the list thanks to a new deal with Global Merchandising Services.

Liam Taylor, Commercial Director at Rubber Road says: “Fans of Ozzy Osbourne, Motorhead and Iron Maiden are going to love this quirky range that pays homage to these rock idols, we guarantee that they won’t have anything like it so far!

Rubber Road joins forces with Shepperton Design Studios for Original Stormtrooper merch

Rubber Road continues to expand its relationships with key players in the world of movies to grow its portfolio of merchandise for all things, pop culture, videogame, comicbook and TV related, by kicking off 2022 with a new partnership with Shepperton Design Studios.

In a deal brokered by Golden Goose, Rubber Road will develop an extensive range of Original Stormtrooper themed merchandise landing later this year to meet the demands of the IP’s many fans.

The new deal will see Rubber Road designing, manufacturing and distributing a range of official merchandise with its creative design business, Numskull Designs.

Pop culture specialist Rubber Road has announced a continuing partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products to produce merchandise inspired by some of the biggest, most iconic global entertainment franchises under its design arm, Numskull Designs.

Rubber Road has been working with WBCP since 2018 and has launched official merchandise inspired by Lord of the Rings, Friends, DC properties including The Suicide Squad and Wizarding World, and horror properties including The Lost Boys, It and The Exorcist. Characters from these franchises have been made into TUBBZ Cosplaying Collectibles, with Lord of the Rings being the biggest collection featuring 16 characters, available now for purchase. Other licensed lines include gaming lockers and Christmas jumpers.

This continued partnership will see Rubber Road introducing many more new products for these franchises as well as having the opportunity to design merchandise based on other much-loved Warner Bros. properties.

Hasbro partners with Rubber Road to launch merchandise range based on its hit global franchises

Hasbro has tapped the pop culture merchandise specialist, Rubber Road and its design arm, Numskull Designs, to develop, manufacture, and distribute a wide range of official merchandise based on some of the toy maker’s biggest franchises.

Rubber Road has made a name for itself as a producer of quality merchandise for movie, toy, gaming, and TV brands. Its portfolio consists of official products for fans and collectors of some of the world’s biggest names in pop culture, including Minions, Harry Potter, DC Comics, Sonic the Hedgehog and more.

In its new partnership with Hasbro, Rubber Road’s Numskull Designs team will introduce a range of products based on some of the global toy maker’s most notable global franchises, including Transformers, Power Rangers, Dungeons & Dragons, NERF, and My Little Pony.

Fashion UK, Portico Designs and Rubber Road among new UK partners for How the Grinch Stole Christmas

Fashion UK, Portico Designs, and the pop culture licensee Rubber Road are among a tranche of new UK licensing partners now signed for Dr Seuss Enterprises festive IP How the Grinch Stole Christmas. The latest signings arrive as WildBrain CPLG secures a new wave of European deals for the property.

In the UK, Portico Designs will release a line of calendars and diaries, Fashion UK is developing new kids’ daywear, and Rubber Road has introduced The Grinch to it popular collectables line up Tubbz. Meanwhile, Enesco is launching figurines and CHristmas decorations, Ecell is developing new phone covers and accessories, and Widdop & Co has signed up for gifting and home accessories.

Additional fashion partnerships have been secured outside of the UK with Trucare for the Middle East and North Africa, and Elyaf for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The new product ranges will launch from October 2020.

These new partnerships join long-standing apparel and homeware UK licensees for the brand which include: Somerbond, BC International, Park Agencies, Misirli, Brand International, Dreamtex, Paul Dennicci, Cooneen, IG Design Group, Hype and Aurora.

Beyond the UK, the licensing programme also features European partners LPP for adult and kids wear and H&M for apparel and accessories, alongside Thalia for gifting in Germany, Australia and Switzerland.
