Rovio has successfully sued several international companies for selling counterfeit versions of its popular Angry Birds toys.
The app game developer will now be awarded $700,000 in damages.
The firm filed a lawsuit against Jong K. Park, Royal Plush Toys, Western Sales and Services and Royal Trade for making and selling knock-off toys based on the game in November 2012.
On March 12th this year, a US District Court Judge for the Northern District of California ordered that the defendant pay the damages to Rovio for willfully violating the Copyright Act, reports Game Politics.
