Rick and Morty secure new fashion deal with Elevenparis

Despite there being no direct translation of ‘Get Schwifty’ or ‘Wubba Lubba Dub Dub’ in the Gallic tongue (and we have Googled this) Turner has turned to the French urban design label Elevenparis for a new apparel collection inspired by the Adult Swim series Rick and Morty.

The Rick and Morty x Elevenparis spring/summer 2019 collection debuts at Elevenparis stores across France today, marked by a special launch celebration in its Paris flagship. The range will also be available to buy online for fans across the globe.

This first branded collection – inspired by a wide range of urban music from hip-hop and rap to rock & roll – will focus on t-shirts and hoodies. Elevenparis has built a reputation for subtly reinventing these fashion items over its 15 year history.

The collection will feature choice character graphics, slogans and catchphrases from the series to convey its irreverent humour.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Elevenparis for this new range inspired by Rick and Morty,” said Leila Loumi, Turner’s international licensing director for softlines, health and beauty. “They are true experts in translating pop culture brands into street fashion that is cool, credible and completely on-trend – our fans are going to love it.”

Rick and Morty is the half-hour animated hit comedy series from Adult Swim that follows a sociopathic genius scientist who drags his inherently timid grandson on insanely dangerous adventures across the universe. Rick Sanchez is living with his daughter Beth’s family and constantly bringing her, his son-in-law Jerry, grand-daughter Summer, and grandson Morty into intergalactic escapades.
