Firm to handle property in Russia/CIS and Central and Eastern Europe.

Plus Licens picks up Skylanders

Plus Licens has added the top selling Skylanders video game franchise to its portfolio – signing up to handle the property in Russia/CIS and Central and Eastern Europe.

Partners in Plus Licens territories include Noviy Disk in Russia, CTC and Magnew in Hungary, ABCData in the Czech Republic, Kontiki in the Slovak Republic, Videotop in Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia, Computerland in Serbia, Montenegro, Albania and Macedonia, Netzah Games in Romania and CTC in Bulgaria.

"Skylanders is a truly valuable addition to our portfolio in these territories," said Eva Karlsson, Plus Licens’ director of sales. "Even before localisations of the game, Russia and Poland were among the top selling countries for Skylanders in the emerging markets segment.

"The dynamic ‘swapability’ proposition in this year’s Skylanders: Swap Force game is another true innovation from the franchise, presenting exciting opportunities to licensed products and promotions in our territories."

Andrea Green, director of international licensing at Activision, added: "We are thrilled to have Plus Licens join our Skylanders licensing family. As we build our business in the important territories of CEE/Russia, their expertise in the market is valued tremendously."
