Maya The Bee and Florrie’s Dragons head to Poland

Studio 100 Media has sold two of its key animation shows, Maya The Bee and Florrie’s Dragons, to Poland.

Iti Neovision in Poland has acquired 78 x 12’ episodes of Maya The Bee and 52 x 10’ episodes of the pre-school series Florrie’s Dragons for its kids pay TV channel, MiniMini+.

The agreement encompasses exclusive pay TV rights for a three-year period starting autumn 2014.

“We are delighted, that Maya the Bee and Florrie’s Dragon will be airing on MiniMini+ in autumn," said Patrick Elmendorff, managing director of Studio 100 Media.

"Both properties, which aim at the target group of three to six year olds, match up perfectly to the program. We are confident that MiniMini+ viewers will immerse themselves into the marvellous world of Maya and Florrie and enjoy the educational elements that both these shows have to offer.”

The CGI Maya the Bee show is now broadcast in 160 territories worldwide.
