LIMA to host first board of directors meeting outside of the US

For the first time in its history, LIMA will hold its board of directors meeting outside of the United States, taking place in London before Brand Licensing Europe.

“Over 50 per cent of LIMA’s membership is now based outside North America; we now have members in 35 countries, and sponsor and support events around the world," said LIMA president Charles Riotto.

"This geographic diversity of our membership base will be a definite factor in deciding the location of future Board meetings.

"The licensing industry is continuing to expand worldwide and especially outside North America," added Ciarán Coyle, chairman of the board of LIMA.

"LIMA is expanding rapidly internationally as well, and so it is a natural step to hold our board of directors’ meeting for the first time outside the US – and where else but in London during Europe’s largest brand licensing show.”
