Licensing Matters appointed as UK lead for Oggy Oggy

Pre-school property Oggy Oggy, from Xilam Animation, is now on Channel 5’s Milkshake and set to grow its UK licensing market.

Xilam Animation has appointed London-based agent Licensing Matters Global as the UK lead for pre-school brand Oggy Oggy and an initial focus on the Publishing, Soft Play, Live Events, Fashion, Gift & Novelties, Homeware, FMCG, Promotions and Health & Beauty categories.

The CGI animated series, produced by Paris-based Xilam Animation, has been airing on Netflix since August 2021 and can now also be seen daily on Channel 5’s Milkshake! at 6.15am. 

The show is a about a cat, full of enthusiasm and curiosity, who likes playing with his cat pal neighbours and enjoying new experiences while lending a helping hand to those in need. The series features strong brand values based on imagination, exploration, imitation and friendship and is about gaining self confidence in a child-friendly, colourful and tactile world.

Simba Dickie Group has been signed by Xilam Animation as global master toy partner for Oggy Oggy. The range, which launches for AW22, is designed to appeal to children aged 3-6 and includes plush, figures, play sets and accessories, vehicles, collectibles and sand buckets. The collection will initially be available in France, Italy, Germany and the UK before expanding to Poland and Spain in spring 2023 and then to additional territories.
