Kennedy Publishing extends Deer Little Forest magazine deal

Kennedy Publishing and Koko Media have exteded the magazine agreement for Deer Little Forest, making the property a regular feature in every 2015 issue of Get Busy and Busy Time.

The Deer Little Forest characters made their worldwide magazine debut last March alongside pre-school personalities such as Peppa Pig, Bob the Builder and Paw Patrol, and the extension of the deal includes a first look option for 2016.

“After a successful start to the year showcasing the wonderful illustrations, we have extended our licensing agreement with Deer Little Forest without hesitation," said Clare Twomey, editorial and creative manager of Kennedy Publishing.

"We’re very happy to be supporting the brand as it grows, and are confident the characters are the perfect addition to our portfolio.”

Lisa Hryniewicz, agent for Jo Rose, added: “Busy Time and Get Busy have played an integral part in building our brand awareness in the UK.

“It has been a genuine thrill to see Jo’s beautifully crafted characters posing on the cover of these popular magazines."

Deer Little Forest activity pages have featured colouring, handwriting, matching games, arts and crafts, and drawing activities and this month’s issue of Busy Time included a cross-promotional competition to win free t-shirts from Deer Little Forest licensee Digital Giving Ltd via T-Shirt Booth.
