To support the UK Head of Licensing in working with licensees and retailers to manage and process product approvals

Position Requirements

  • Working with our licensees, manage the development of soft line products ensuring product innovation, brand consistency and commercial relevance
  • Identify new product opportunities, create trend directions & develop first class conceptual design
  • Ensure all new and existing licensees are trained and kept up to date on the MGA brand, property portfolio, creative assets and approval systems


  • Build and maintain strong relationships within the other business units
  • Ensure all product are managed through appropriate MGA product approval process in line with
  • product integrity guidelines
  • Identify new areas of business and establish design requirements
  • Develop and maintain an expert knowledge of MGA properties in order to assist in their usage on consumer products

Basic Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable commercial experience within soft line product development
  • Demonstrable experience of working with creative teams
  • Knowledge of trends within soft lines and the broader world of design
  • Knowledge of common manufacturing techniques and their application in production
  • Ability to communicate design ideas using freehand drawing, computer techniques and/or third party design resources to internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Advanced knowledge of Mac OSX, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office
  • Packaging experience, desirable
