Our client is a long established privately owned Hong Kong based multinational toy manufacturer which develops and markets high-tech toys. The company has ambitious growth plans which will be backed by a commitment to invest in brand building. To assist the exclusive UK distributor to more fully exploit the market opportunities our client is recruiting a Digital Marketing Manager to drive awareness and demand for its brands through social media and classical advertising campaigns.
Suitable candidates will have several years of in-depth hands-on experience in planning and carrying out social media campaigns for toys or related categories through YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and the company’s own blogs and websites. The right candidate will be able to do this on his or her own but may use outside agencies as an additional resource.
The Digital Marketing Manager will recommend a strategy and planning for both digital and classical advertising campaigns. Preferred candidates will also have broader marketing experience including with TV advertising and willl have the potential to be promoted to a higher level. This position will have extensive scope for personal initiative, for example in identifying and implementing novel ways of reaching the target consumer and will appeal to a business opportunity driven person with a corporate mindset who is also a good teamplayer. The Digital Marketing Manager will report to the European Sales & Marketing Manager and will work from home. Remuneration will be determined by the market, to ensure a highly competent person is recruited.
