Floogals lands in the UK with Channel 5’s Milkshake

Zodiak Kids has struck a deal with Channel 5’s Milkshake for its hit pre-school series, Floogals.

Based on an original idea from Dan Good and developed by Zodiak Kids Studios with UK special effects studio Jellyfish Pictures, the first series will be revoiced with a UK cast.

Jean-Philippe Randsi, CEO Zodiak Kids, said: :”We are delighted to add Channel 5 to the global sales roster of over 150 territories that has already seen international success. Milkshake will be a great UK home for this British born hit.”

Sarah Muller, head of children’s Channel 5, added: “I am so happy to be bringing this home-grown series to the Milkshake audience. Floogals is a sophisticated piece of British storytelling that will bring a fantastic and funny world alive for our young audience.”

The first series of Floogals was produced in the UK by Zodiak Kids Studios UK – part of the Banijay Group – as a co-production between Zodiak Kids and Nevision.

A mix of photo real CGI and live action, Floogals has been championed as bringing new medium to the pre-school space.
