Eleanor Tomlinson and Andrew Eborn roll out gallery concept

Published on: 14th April 2023

The first permanent gallery space and workspace for Eleanor Tomlinson launched with a star-studded party and will now roll out as a global concept.

Eleanor Tomlinson and Andrew Eborn, president of Octopus TV, have celebrated the launch of Eleanor’s first permanent gallery space and workspace at The O2, Greenwich, home to the world’s most popular music, sport, comedy and entertainment – and now art. A glittering galaxy of stars from the worlds of television, film, music, fashion, politics and industry turned out in style for the launch party.

Eleanor’s extensive body of work, which includes Jubilee Ma’amalade Tea and Coronation Capers, is now available to view at scale on the vast walls of the stylish interior of Soukra in the Icon Outlet at The O2. Eleanor’s artwork as well as officially licensed products are also available to buy.

This is the latest in an impressive line of major licensing deals following Eleanor joining forces with Andrew Eborn, internationally renowned lawyer and broadcaster and President of Octopus TV, to maximise licensing opportunities and develop a global brand.

They have since been working together setting up official licences around the world. Already, deals have been made for various product categories as well as special live events including workshops and afternoon teas in various territories including Japan. Eleanor has recently signed a multi-product deal with Ravensburger.

Andrew, who has been instrumental in growing many major brands, has also secured worldwide media coverage for Eleanor, enabling her to benefit from his many powerful contacts around the world and resulting in deals being concluded with unprecedented speed.

Andrew commented: “I am thrilled to be working with Eleanor reviewing the various opportunities including from international licensing. Together we are developing a global brand, building on the success of Eleanor’s work to date, whilst protecting her artistic rights and integrity. We are rolling out Eleanor Tomlinson’s Gallery and Workshop around the world as well as securing licensing deals across all product ranges. I very much look forward to hearing from anyone interested in exploring the exciting licensing opportunities.”

Eleanor added: “I am very excited at even the thought of the possible opportunities being created as a result of my partnership with Andrew Eborn. What started as a wonderful introduction by the BBC has already turned into a strong creative partnership. 2023 is already proving to be something else as Andrew and I join forces to share even more of my artwork with the world, entering into fabulous collaborations with leading world names.”

In addition to the officially licensed product range, Eleanor is delighted to be able to offer personal workshops, set amongst a gallery backdrop of Eleanor’s various ink and watercolour works. The workshop experiences are purposefully created to welcome all levels and ages within a friendly, supporting setting led by Eleanor. Special Children’s Hour workshops will also be held to encourage the next generation of creatives and future illustrators.
