Luisa Ramirez will be responsible for driving growth across DeAPlaneta’s IP portfolio, which includes Miraculous Ladybug, Milo and Maya the Bee.

Luisa Ramírez has joined DeAPlaneta Entertainment as franchise manager. She will focus on international growth and increasing the potential of the extensive IP portfolio.

Luisa acted as brand manager for Pocoyó (Zinkia Entertainment) for over a decade and led expansion of the products derived from this hit pre-school series in Spain and around the globe. She managed the merchandising department, steered over 20,000 products, and led the design and marketing teams, while also working closely on global commercial strategies to position and expand the property around the world.

“DeAPlaneta Entertainment is one of Europe’s most internationally renowned companies,” said Luisa. “After over a decade as brand manager for Pocoyó, I hope to use my knowledge to serve the DeAPlaneta Entertainment portfolio and support the national and international expansion of promising brands such as Milo, The Three Muskeeters, or Gus, the Itsy Bitsy Knight.”

DeAPlaneta Entertainment is part of the Grupo Planeta and De Agostini and has acquired, produced and distributed content and experiences for over 20 years. It has worked on everything from feature films, live-action series, animation and licensing to live performances, videogame competitions and, more recently, NFTs and a metaverse presence.

DeAPlaneta Entertainment manages and produces recognised children’s brands including Miraculous Ladybug, Milo, Gormiti, Heidi and Maya the Bee. It develops powerful stories and content that goes beyond screens for a universal audience.
