Character World enjoys sell-out success at Star Wars Celebration 2016

Character World made an appearance at this year’s Star Wars Celebration Europe, which took place in London’s ExcelExhibition Centre.

Held across three days, the firm exhibited its range of Star Wars merchandise, which proved to be hit with fans.

During the three-day event, Character World’s Cuddle Robe – inspired by The Force Awakens’ BB-8 – sold out on day one of the show.

“This is the first time the celebratory event has been held in the UK and it was fantastic to be part of it," said Mark Schweiger, joint MD at Character World.

"The Star Wars community is absolutely massive and it was great to meet so many fans from all over the world. There was something there for all ages to enjoy – the atmosphere was amazing. The Star Wars property is one of our most popular and with such a strong global fan base and constant developments, the brand will continue to grow. We can’t wait to see what’s next.”

The firm also offered attendees the chance to win a bundle of Star Wars themed goodies by encouraging fans to tweet selfies of themselves wearing the Cuddle Robe.
