Bulldog secures raft of licensees for CBBC’s Wolfblood

Bulldog Licensing has secured a raft of new deals for the growing CBBC children’s property, Wolfblood.

The firm has partnered with Danilo for a range of cards and calendars based on the award winning fantasy drama series.

Meanwhile, Fashion UK will develop a collection of Wolfblood inspired nightwear and underwear.

Wolfblood has already enjoyed two successful seasons on CBBC, reaching nearly 1.1 million kids aged six to 12.

The BBC has confirmed that filming for season three will begin this year, ready for broadcast this autumn.

The new deals follow Bulldog’s recent partnerships with Smith and Brooks and VMC who are currently developing apparel ranges and accessories respectively.

The licensing firm is now looking to extend the brand in to publishing, board games, card games and stationery lines.

“Wolfblood is very hot property and looks set to grow further with the release of the next series and a comprehensive range of licensed merchandise,” said Bulldog Group managing director, Rob Corney.

“It’s no surprise we are enjoying so much success in the licensing sector. Fans can’t wait for the new series to hit the screen and anything linked to this property is set to be very successful at retail.”

Created by Debbie Moon and co-produced by CBBC and ZDF/ZDFE, Wolfblood is an award winning fantasy drama series following the adventures of two humans who can turn into wolves.
