Atlantyca extends Nintendo partnership for Thea Sister Nintendo 3DS themes

Atlantyca Entertainment has extended its agreement with Nintendo launch a line of new Thea Sisters themes for the Nintendo 3DS and 2DS systems.

Under the partnership, the consoles will now feature Thea Sisters images, unique icons and backgrounds within a range of personalised Nintendo 3DS Home Menus.

The latest deal is an extension of a partnership between Atlantyca and Nintendo that has already seen its flagship brand Geronimo Stilton feature within the handheld console’s home menu.

The Thea Sisters will span numerous regions including all European Economic Areas, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

Themes can now be purchased and downloaded from the Nintendo 3DS Theme Shop, which is accessible via the home menu of a user’s console.

“Today’s children are all about their hand held devices. As part of our consumer marketing efforts, Atlantyca is committed to raising brand awareness in the digital and interactive space, so this deal marks a very exciting time for us,” said Marco Piccinini, licensing manager at Atlantyca Entertainment.

“With over 18 million copies sold to date, translations in over 18 languages, Thea Sisters’ popularity has grown extensively resulting in a greater evergreen fan base.

‘We are honoured to have Nintendo back as ne of our leading partners and look forward to working with them again with these two wonderful children’s properties.”
