Popular pre-school animation Bing will have its own character hub as part of being Amazon Kids+ February’s featured children’s series.

Pre-school animation Bing has been selected by Amazon Kids+ UK as its featured children’s series this month. As part of the promotional initiative between Acamar Films and Amazon, the series will have its own character hub on Amazon Kids+, giving pre-schoolers and their families easy access to episodes, games, books, learning activities, audio stories and music.

Claire Brossard, senior director, Digital Strategy at Acamar Films, said: “It’s a joy to know that through this collaboration, UK Bingsters will connect more deeply with our characters and stories. This bespoke branded hub will showcase the wealth of Bing digital experiences available to children through Amazon Kids+. From listening to audio stories via Alexa to watching episodes, we hope that grown-ups take full advantage of the extensive and varied Bing content available on Kids+, especially during the February half term break.”

Families can access the character hub through their Amazon Kids+ subscription. The library available via Amazon Kids+ includes over 100 full episodes plus bonus content, games and learning activities available on the Bing: Let’s Play and Bing Baking apps, as well as the Bing Time Amazon Alexa Skill featuring audio stories, games, and music. In addition, Amazon Kindle picture books published by HarperCollins are available.

As part of the collaboration, the character hub will be promoted to millions of users across Amazon, encouraging new audiences to discover and interact with the award-winning show. The activation will also be promoted to grown-ups across social channels.

Bing and Amazon have a well-established and expanding collaboration across multiple content areas. Acamar Films recently announced an extended, multi-year Prime Video deal for Bing across the UK, Ireland, Italy and Spain.
