Acamar Films appoints MadHouse as costume character partner for France

Acamar Films has signed an agreement with MadHouse Brands & Malls, granting the experiential specialists the rights to provide costume character appearances of Bing and Flop within France for three years.

“MadHouse knows how to deliver character experiences that are true to the heart of a property while also captivating audiences. We are sure the team will provide encounters with Bing and Flop that will not only delight French families but also strengthen the popularity of the series as it continues to win audiences on France 5 and Okoo,” Said Kirsty Southgate, director of Experiential and Promotions at Acamar Films

 

The Bing and Flop costume characters made their debut French appearance in Toulouse on Sunday, 9th April as part of the Easter weekend event organised by Secours Populaire, the non profit organisation. Family activities included an egg hunt and games, as well as meet and greets.  

 

“Bing and Flop are quickly becoming pre-school superstars in France and it is clear that Bing is a series which already means a great deal to French families. We are so pleased to be able to add Bing and Flop to our roster and look forward to working with Acamar to bring children and families unforgettable experiences and interactions with their favourite characters,” said Rosalen Gonzalez Martinez, international business coordinator at MadHouse.

 

Bing launched on France Télévision’s Okoo digital platform in November 2022, and made its French linear television debut on France 5 on Tuesday, 3rd January 2023. Three episodes of Bing are broadcast back-to-back on France 5 every weekday morning as well as on the weekend during term time. French audiences can also find Bing on the Okoo digital platform on MyCanal, Orange, Samsung TV, SFR and TV on FREE as well as on the French language Bing YouTube channel
