20th Century Fox readies The Simpsons-inspired baby line

20th Century Fox Consumer Products is set to launch a new line of baby and nursery products inspired by The Simpsons.

The new licensing program Made in Springfield will launch in Europe, and will expand across the globe in 2017.

Fashion Lab is the first licensee to launch its range of baby and nursery soft lines, while Sahinler will serve as the brand’s launch partner in France with other markets to follow.

“The popularity of The Simpsons spans all generation. Our intention with the new Made in Springfield brand extension is to engage with adults who have a real fondness for The Simpsons and are now having children of their own,” said Sandra Vauthier-Cellier, SVP for Fox Consumer Products EMEA.

“This new baby programme, with its hand-drawn graphics and soft colour palette, creates a point of difference and allows us to explore new retail channels.”
