Aardman extends Shaun the Sheep craft range with Create and Craft

Aardman is extending its licensing partnership with Create and Craft with the launch of a new range of Shaun the Sheep craft products.

The range launched earlier this week and will be presented live via a global launch on Create and Craft TV.

The collection follows on from October’s launch, which saw a unique line of crafting products based on Nick Park’s Academy Award-winning film ‘Wallace & Gromit – A Grand Day Out’, made available to Aardman and craft fans around the world.

Products in the Shaun the Sheep collection include metal dies, character paper pads, stamp sets, screen printing screens and more. Each die incorporates essential detail to enable crafters to get the truest likeness to each character possible through precision cutting.

According to the firm, using these alongside the coordinating paper pads and stamp sets enables both beginners and experienced crafters to create the same professional results.

This collection will also include screens which work with the popular screen sensation product range so crafters can create their own printed designs from T-shirts to home décor.

Aardman’s brand manager, Beth Smith, said of the partnership: “We’re very excited to be working with Create and Craft again on the new Shaun the Sheep collection.

"At Aardman we are driven by creativity, and it’s been great to draw on our characters inherently artistic and tactile worlds with this new line of craft products.”

Stephanie Weightman, product creative director at Create and Craft added: “Here at Create and Craft we are thrilled about continuing our partnership with Aardman, bringing their characters to the world of craft.

"Their iconic characters are much-loved by both young and old and the designs will be ideal for creating projects for all kinds of occasions.”

Alongside the new Shaun the Sheep and existing Wallace & Gromit collection, Create and Craft will be launching a host of other Aardman character ranges, set to appear on the channel over the coming months.

The partnership between Aardman and Create and Craft was initiated by Aardman UK licensing agent, Start Licensing in 2018.
