5 Seconds of Summer celebrates UK leg of world tour with London pop-up shop

The Australian pop rock band, 5 Seconds of Summer is celebrating the UK leg of its Meet You There World Tour with a pop-up experience in London.

The Youngblood London 5 Seconds of Summer pop-up shop will open from October 27th to 28th in London’s Camden Market. It follows successful pop-up initiatives in Japan, Australia and most recently Los Angeles.

The shop is the collaborative work of the group and Universal Music Group and its licensing and merchandising arm, Bravado.

The pop-up shop will carry exclusive band merchandise. It will be the only retail event in the UK to do so.

This is the latest in Bravado’s continued efforts in delivering artist and band focused pop-up shops in and around London. Most recently, the firm has been working on an exclusive Queen immersive pop-up in the UK’s capital. It was launched to celebrate the cinematic release of Bohemian Rhapsody.

Bravado has also been attached to a Rolling Stones pop-up within London’s Selfridges. In an interview with Licensing.biz, Bravado’s CEO Matt Vlasic said ‘pop-up experiences were today’s means for artists to drive listener and fan engagement,’ by bringing back the physicality to music.
