WildBrain has been appointed the global manager for Ludorum’s popular animated pre-school series, Chuggington.
The new deal sees WildBrain take on global representation for the brand in all territories excluding Japan as it grows the series’ audience across the YouTube platform.
With a popular animated TV series and various spin-offs, the Chuggington brand is popular and widely loved among pre-schoolers worldwide, read a statement from the firm.
Online the series has a following of hundreds of thousands of fans across social media while on YouTube, Chuggington currently boasts over 200,000 subscribers and on Facebook it has close to 250,000 followers.
Under the new deal, WildBrain will launch a minimum of eight new Chuggington branded channels across various territories and languages this year to grow the brand’s global reach.
