Planeta Junior names Erick Rouille new country manager for France

Planeta Junior has welcomed a new International TV sales director and country manager for France in the form of Erick Rouille.

Having spent over 20 years in the animation and TV sector, Rouille boasts extensive experience in both consumer products and TV sales.

He joins from France Televisions Distribution where he served as senior VP sales. Prior to this he was EVP sales, TV and licensing at the French animation company Xilam where he handled worldwide TV sales and consumer products for the firm’s popular catalogue.

In 2008, Erick helped in the start up of Planeta Junior in France as commercial director.

His new role will see Rouille handle responsibility for developing the business and Planeta Junior’s strategy in the French market with new series like Magiki and Pio Rocks, as well as representing Care Bears, Mia and Me, Wissper or Tip the Mouse.

Reporting to Diego Ibanez Belaustegui, international commercial director of Planeta Junior, Rouille will be in charge of international TV sales for the Planeta Junior animation series.
