Learn English with Angry Birds app hits iOS and Android

Rovio has teamed with Papagei.com to bring its interactive Learn English with Angry Birds courses to mobile.

Available in a new mobile app for iOS and Android devices, Learn English with Angry Birds includes 45 video courses with subtitles in ten different language combinations, plus a digital vocabulary and pronunciation coach.

“The partnership with Papagei.com brings us together with a great digital brand, and we are delighted to be able to help support the aspirations of young language learners,” added Alex Lambeek, Rovio’s chief commercial officer.

The app also contains grammar exercises and includes interfaces for German, Turkish, Spanish, Polish, Arabic, Russian and Chinese-speaking learners.

“The interactive Angry Birds videos are entertaining, the language used is not too complicated and the episodes have the perfect length to complete short practice sequences after school,” added Dr. Michaela Meier, CEO of Papagei.com.
