Alexa Chung readies own fashion label

Model and TV presenter Alexa Chung is set to launch her own fashion line that will hit retailers in May 2017.

Dubbed Alexachung, the contemporary-priced collection will span a wide range of items, including jewellery, daywear, eveningwear, accessories, shoes and denim.

Having previously collaborated with the likes of Marks & Spaencer and AG Jeans, Chung’s new project will see her step up as creative director of the fashion line.

Chung said: “I feel as though I’m kind of prepared to do it now. If it had been any time sooner than this, I either wouldn’t be responsible enough or have been able to take on this kind of feat,” reports Business of Fashion.

Chung’s collection will be available from Selfridges, Matchesfashion.com, MyTheresa, SSENSE and Galeries Lafayette.
