ITV said to be in talks to acquire eOne

UK broadcaster ITV is allegedly in talks to acquire Canadian company Entertainment One.

ITV has held conversations with eOne over a potential sale, although no final decision has been made yet, claims Bloomberg, who also states that the discussions that have already been held may not result in a sale.

In a statement, eOne told Licensing.biz that the company ‘notes the press speculation regarding a potential offer,’ and that ‘no approach has been received by eOne’.
