Square Enix details Final Fantasy movie and new anime series

To coincide with the arrival of the Final Fantasy XV video game on September 30th, Square Enix is developing a CG movie and a new anime series set in the Final Fantasy universe.

Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV is a CG movie, presented by Sony Pictures Entertainment and Square Enix.

The animated feature set the stage for the narrative from the upcoming game and boasts a voice cast including Sean Bean, Lena Headey and Aaron Paul. Square Enix has teamed with Audi to create a special Final Fantasy-inspired car that will appear in the movie.

Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV will be released digitally worldwide before the game’s launch. Check out the trailer below:

Elsewhere, a new animated series titled Brotherhood Final Fantasy XV will land on YouTube in the run-up to the game’s launch.
