In her new position, Kisilevsky will continue to oversee creative development for some of the channel’s upcoming movies, including the likes of High School Musical 4.

Kisilevsky has been working on the Disney Channel original movie franchise since 2010, and will now report to Naketha Mattocks, VP of original movies for Disney Channels Worldwide

Other responsibilities include script development, working alongside writers and directors and overseeing storytelling throughout production.

Previously, Kisilevsky held the role as VP of production and acquisitions at Overture Films. Plus, she served as VP of development at Reese Witherspoon’s Type A Films.

Mattocks said: "Lauren is an incredibly talented executive and her years of expertise in feature film development has helped tremendously in pushing our movies to the next level,” reports Broadwayworld.
