BBC and Disney partner to launch Spider-Man Heelys

Disney has teamed with BBC International to bring Spider-Man to the streets with a new range of co-branded Heelys.

The web-slinging hero will now feature on the new collection of Heelys BOLT X2 Skate Shoes, marking the first Marvel collaboration for the shoemakers.

Developed by Disney Consumer Products, the new Spider-Man Heelys retail in the US for $75 and are currently available from www.heelys.com.

Founded in 1999, Heelys now sell across the globe, allowing kids and adults to roll to their destinations thanks to the removable wheel in the heel of each trainer.

‘Heelys has been a breakout success in the world of action sports among children and teens with its innovative wheeled footwear,’ read a statement from the Heelys team.
