ABC Licensing has appointed board game specialist Winning Moves to develop a new Cluedo game based on ABC1 TV’s top crime drama, Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries.
Set in 1920s Melbourne, Phryne Fisher is the show’s heroine, solving mysteries with wit and a pearl handled pistol.
And as the drama readies to air once again on the Australian channel, this new deal will offer fans the chance to solve crimes within the world of the super-sleuth.
Danielle Smith of ABC Licensing, said: "We are so excited about this product. Players get to become a character from the programme and try their own hand at solving a mystery.
"Fans of the programme will recognise rooms from Miss Fisher’s glamorous home, which has been recreated as the crime scene on the playing board. It is a beautiful game with wide appeal."
A giftware range has also been developed, including greetings cards, compact mirror, notebooks, bookmarks and magnets.
The range has been available at the Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries Costume Exhibition in Melbourne for the last three months, and is now available nationwide alongside the Cluedo game at ABC Shops and Centres.
